I’m taking a photo:
- of bus-window graffiti
- illuminated by the bokeh passing past leaves (on maple trees planted just across the curb from where we find my bus, idling,) creating apertures like the kind that will allow you to safely view an eclipse inside a box, for instance, one of nature’s camera obscurae, cast on the partition behind the back door
- as I sit in my spine-mandated, front-facing seat
- on my way home to my deardearest.
